- Description
Crossco® 5500™ is a water based 100% acrylic elastomeric of a single component, providing a waterproof seal on roof and walls. Crossco® 5500™ does not crack, harden, crumbles off or collapse, even when exposed to severe climate changes. Reflects sunlight and reduces internal temperature. When applied correctly this product helps reduce energy costs.

- Application
Pressure wash the roof with a mild detergent. To remove all loose particles such as: Gravel, dust, old sealer, grease, wax and oil. remove the fungus, silt, mildew and algae with a mixture of water and Crossco® Crosscrete™; scrub the surface with a brush. Make sure to rinse the area well and leave it to dry completely. Apply on a clear and sunny day. Do not apply it after 3: 00 PM. or at low temperatures. Apply only at temperature above 50 ° F. Make sure to protect it from rain at least 6 hours after applied. Apply with a heavy nap roller or an airless sprayer. Place product on the surface and carefully apply at a rate which ensures uniform coverage. Drying depends upon the thickness, humidity, and temperature. Do not walk on the sealer until 24 hours after application and make sure that the sealant is completely dry before walking on it. Apply product in opposite directions. Do not dilute the product. Clean the equipments with soap and water.
